The Post has operated in Medicine Hat for the past 30 years and is a non-profit fundraiser for the Canadian Mental Health Association Alberta South East Region. All proceeds remain in our immediate area to support programs such as Sucide Prevention, Post Partem Depression seminars, Education programs in local schools, support groups for those struggling with mental illness and many others.

The Post relies heavily on our approximately 80 volunteers who work tirelessly preparing donated items for our customers. We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.  All items received are donated out of the kind generousity in our community.  At the Post all of our volunteers and staff join together to prepare for you, a one stop shopping experience within our many departments.
