The Post has operated in Medicine Hat for the past 27 years and is a non-profit fundraiser for the Canadian Mental Health Association Alberta South East Region. All proceeds remain in our immediate area to support programs such as Sucide Prevention, Post Partem Depression seminars, Education programs in local schools, support groups for those struggling with mental illness and many others. The Post relies heavily on our approximately 80 volunteers who work tirelessly preparing donated items for our customers. All items received are donated out of the kind generousity in our community. Come to The Post and have an enjoyable one stop shopping experience within our many departments.

Sewing needs

Sewing needs
The Post has a sewing needs section. Material and buttons, zippers, seam binding, patterns to name a few. Whether you are an avid sewer or sew as a hobby, we may have what you are looking for. Colors of the rainbow in thread, buckles and stitch rippers, we even have sewing baskets to keep your needs at hand. Collector plates

Collector plates
Collector plates rise high on the list of collectible items here at The Post. Being a popular item, our turnover at times can be quite lively. Some come complete with box and certificates of authenticity; others do not, which allows for a fluctuation in pricing that can please any wallet. If you are an avid collector or just appreciate the beauty of a plate or two to fit with your deco. We may have just what you are looking for. Most collector plates can be found in the showcases on the Treasure side of The Post for your viewing. Hurry in.
Royal Albert

Royal Albert
Royal Albert is elegance. What better way to serve and enjoy a cup of tea, but in a Royal Albert tea cup. Here at The Post we have beautiful tea cups and more that have been generously donated to find a new home. Royal Albert is timeless. It adds polish to a table setting and invites a feeling of richness that lasts forever. Treat yourself to a gracious gift or buy two and gift one. Our prices for this beautiful china make it possible.

Katana

Katana
The Katana is a type of Japanese sword, also commonly referred to as a "samurai sword". This generous donation has just been received and is on display at the Treasure side of The Post. This Katana trio is complete with leather sheaths and wooden rack for home/other display. This is a very unique item to our store and you will find it most interesting. We would be pleased to show it to you.
Dolls

Dolls
Our dolls are gathering for a picnic. Table and chairs complete with tablecloth (doily), dishes and even a tiny candle for a complete setting. All items are available at The Post. We have many dolls here. Dolls that cry, wiggle, play music or some - just wonderful to hold. For the collector we have limited edition dolls and fine porcelains as well. We have vintage dolls that have been lovingly restored. So whether you are a collector or have someone that would love to have "a special someone" to call their own, drop by and peruse our doll section. You are sure to find some to take home.

Great second-hand shop

One of the best second-hand shops in the city. I've always found some type of goody every time I stop in. The attached bookstore also has quite a few interesting items in it from time to time for me.
