Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy have brought the roof down on concert halls throughout the United States for the past 16 years. Now they are coming to the Esplanade for one night of big band musicianship, mischief, and lyrical wizardry.
With a multiplatinum career that has seen the band headline Super Bowl stages, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and 60 movies and television shows showcasing their numerous hits like You and Me and the Bottle Makes Three (Tonight) and Go Daddy-O, Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy will definitely breathe new life into the long cold winter.
For their first appearance at the Esplanade, Big Bad Voo doo Daddy will showcase the iconic songbook of Cab Calloway from top to bottom - all live and lots of jive.
"This is the best and most ferocious we have ever sounded," says Scotty Morriss. "How Big Can it Get" is the title of the new album and probably the headline in the papers the next day.
Come and swing the night away with Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy at the Esplanade on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 8:00 PM.
Admission to this big band is Main Floor $44.00 and Balcony $39.00 + S/C, GST on all ticket prices.
