Maurice Sendak’s LITTLE BEAR WINTER TAILS is a journey of delectable tales capturing each of Little Bear’s favourite seasonal celebrations! This 90-minute theatrical production leads the audience down an exciting path of singing, dancing, and laughter as they watch the hijinx and fun had by curious and imaginative Little Bear while he enjoys the time between the first falling leaf and the first blooming bud.
The leaves are falling and the forest is painted in an exciting rainbow of colour when Little Bear and his friends find a bouncing pumpkin under the harvest moon. Falling snow means rising excitement for Little Bear, because he knows that soon it will be time for the biggest party of the entire season, the Winter Solstice! And before the snow starts to melt, Little Bear and his friends exchange Valentines with each other, making everyone feel special and happy!
Come out and visit Little Bear and his friends Emily, Duck, Cat, Owl and Hen when they come to the Esplanade. It’s a fun, exciting, party when you sing, dance and bop along with Winter Tails. "
